So yesterday I went to visit Piazzale del Michelangelo, and it was perfect in so many ways. It began raining while we were making our way up there, this was nothing out of the ordinary as now days without rain are the most surprising thing to me. But this the second time I had tried to visit this piazzale just to have my visit dampened by rain! Luckily it cleared off within fifteen minutes, and was replaced by a double rainbow that created an arc right over the David (a copy but close enough). Not a bad sight to look at over a bowl of gelato (chocolate hazelnut and coffee and yes, it was delicious)! This piazzale offers such an amazing view of Florence. For me, the metaphorical cherry on top of this day was an amazing musician that started playing when the sun came out. Check out the heart wall to hear him perform!
