Ciao from Florence

I have been in Florence, Italy for about two weeks now. I feel like I’ve really adjusted to the Italian way of life. I love everything about Florence except the fact that there is nowhere to sit down, the shops are small, and coffee shops are apparently somewhere where you just go to take a shot of espresso and go about your day. Also, the American in me keeps reminiscing about the beauty of cars, of just seating in a seat and being “magically” transported someplace else. Still there is lots to make up for it; the countless gelato shops, the beautiful Italian men that actually don’t call out “Ciao Bella” to you in the streets because everyone in Italy is already part of a couple, the beautiful art… Florence is an adventure and I’m excited to share it with all of you J
